This year we held our third annual “Santamental” event! Our clients, friends and family gathered on a sunny Sunday afternoon to come take pictures for the upcoming holiday season. We added a great initiative this year, the Halton Women’s Place tree. On top of our donation we had clients bring a small item to help contribute to our giving tree, and we were able to donate so many pjs, towels and soap to the shelter.

Halton Women’s Place is the only emergency safe shelter for women and children experiencing violence and abuse in the Region. In addition to offering 24/7 residential services, phone and online chat crisis counselling, referrals and information, our team also provides community outreach, safety planning, transitional housing, court support, and a community-based training and public education program.
